Voters passed a bond measure in 2018 to fund improvements across the entire district, including at Harritt Elementary School. Bond funding will provide nearly $2 million in renovations at Harritt.

Highlights of the work planned at Harritt include:
• Site improvements
• Electronic badge access system upgrades
• Gym improvements
• Music room improvements
• Intercom system upgrades
• Library improvements
• Replacement of the old portable classrooms with newer units

The district’s project management team is currently working with AC + Co Architects to finalize the drawings that construction contractors will use to improve the spaces at Harritt.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2023 and is expected to be complete early in the fall of 2023.
